Mickey’s Brisket recipe

- 4 pounds brisket of beef
- 2 large onions
- Salt, pepper, and garlic to taste
- 1/2 cup catsup
- 1/2 cup chili sauce
- 1/2 cup water
- 1/4 cup A-1steak sauce
Place sliced onions in bottom of roasting pan. Place meat fat side up on top of the onions. Mix remaining ingredients and pour over meat. Roast, uncovered, at 350 degrees for one hour. Baste. Add water if necessary. Cover and roast another hour. Cool. Slice thin. Put back into gravy. Cover and roast until tender, about another hour.
