Lime juice, simple syrup, pomegranate molasses and white tequila shaken, not stirred. Blindfold me before I go down.
Ready in: 10 mins

Ingredients

Serves: 1
  • 2 ounces white tequila
  • 1 ounce lime juice
  • 1 ounce simple syrup
  • 1 teaspoon pomegranate molasses
  • 2 dashes Angostura bitters
  • 1 lime peel, for garnish
  • 1 lemon peel, for garnish

Preparation method

Prep: 10 mins

1. Fill a shaker with ice. Pour in all of the ingredients, and shake until the outside of the shaker has frosted. Strain into a rocks glass over one large ice cube. Garnish with lime and lemon peel. Optional:

Try substituting some jalapeno-infused tequila, or add a few slivers of fresh jalapeno to add more heat and complexity to the cocktail.
