Meringue hearts with lemon mousse recipe details
Ingredients
2 | egg whites |
100 g | sugar |
250 g | lemon mousse |
30 g | pistachios, chopped |
Instructions
Preheat the oven to 120°C.Whisk the egg whites until stiff. Trickle in the sugar and go on whisking until the meringue mass is shiny.
Spoon the meringue divided in ten dollops onto a lined and greased baking tray. Shape the dollops with a tablespoon to hearts. Bake for 1 hour and 40 minutes.
Place the baking parchment with the meringues on a wire rack to cool.
Fill the lemon mousse into a piping bag and extrude small dabs onto the middle of the hearts. Sprinkle with the pistachios.
