Meatball with carrots recipe details
Ingredients
1 medium | shallot, chopped |
125 g | beef mince |
1 tsp | mustard |
salt and freshly ground black pepper | |
2 tsp | oil |
200 g | carrots, peeled and sliced |
100 ml | water |
100 g | lettuce, chopped |
1 tbsp | parsely, chopped |
Instructions
Mix the minced meat with half of the shallots and the mustard. Season with salt and pepper. Knead until well combined and shape to a ball.In a pan, heat half of the oil. Fry the meatball over medium heat for 10-15 minutes until brown and crispy all around.
In another pan heat the remaining oil. Sauté the other half of the shallot together with the carrots for 3 minutes. Season with salt and pepper. Pour in the water and cook until the water has almost evaporated. Stir in the lettuce and the parsley.
Serve the meatball with the vegetables.
