Mark's spicy curried spaghetti recipe details
A spaghetti that is made unusual by sausage, curry powder, and rosemary.

Ingredients
Serves: 4- 1 (16 ounce) package cappellini spaghetti
- 2 tablespoons sesame oil
- 1 (12 ounce) package Jimmy Dean(R) Hot Sausage
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 onion, chopped
- 1 teaspoon Lowry’s(R) Seasoned Salt
- 1 teaspoon hot curry powder
- Dried rosemary, to taste
- Dried basil, to taste
- Dried oregano, to taste
- 1 (26 ounce) jar Newman’s(R) Marinara Sauce
Preparation method
Prep: 10 mins | Cook: 20 mins1. Bring large pot of water to boil. Add spaghetti and cook until al dente, about 4 minutes. Drain and set aside.
2. In a 5 quart non-stick skillet, add sesame oil and heat over medium. Add sausage and brown well, about 10 minutes. Remove sausage to plate, reserving oil.
3. Cook garlic and onion in the sausage sesame oil over medium heat, about 2 minutes.
4. Add Lawry’s, curry powder, rosemary, basil, and oregano. Stir and cook for 2 minutes, then add sausage back into skillet.
5. Add marinara sauce. Stir, heat, then serve over cooked spaghetti.
