This is an quick, tasty recipe for those of you who like the flavor of basil, tomatoes, and garlic combined. It’s also a great way to use up all those garden tomatoes! Use several small, or Roma tomatoes for better presentation if desired.

Ingredients
Serves: 4- 3 tablespoons olive oil, divided
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes
- 1 clove garlic minced
- enough sliced tomato to cover one pizza (About 2 average sized )tomatoes
- 1 Pizza Shell (Boboli(R), or the like.)
- 6 ounces shredded Mozzarella cheese
- 1/4 cup shaved Parmesan cheese
- 7 fresh basil leaves, julienned
Preparation method
Prep: 20 mins | Cook: 10 mins1. Pre-Heat oven to 450 degrees. In a medium bowl, mix 2 tblspns of the olive oil, salt, pepper flakes, garlic. Next add the sliced tomatoes making sure all are coated with the olive oil mixture. Let this mixture sit for about 5 minutes while on the pizza shell, you brush a thin coating of olive oil, and sprinkle the Mozzerella cheese on top. Next, spread the tomatoes evenly across the pizza. Pour the left over oil mixuture over the pizza.
2. Bake for 8-10 minutes at 450 degrees. Remove, spread the Parmesan cheese, then the Basil over the pizza, and let sit for 2 minutes. Serve.
