Ingredients
250 g | butter |
250 g | sugar |
1 pack(s) | vanilla sugar |
4 | eggs |
20 ml | rum |
1 dash(es) | salt |
500 g | wheat flour |
1 pack(s) | baking powder |
⅛ l | milk |
¼ cup(s) | cocoa powder |
Instructions
Stir together the butter, sugar, vanilla sugar and eggs. Add rum and salt.Now put the wheat flour into a bowl but du not mix it with the rest of the ingredients yet. Scoop a hole out in the center of the flour. Add the baking powder into the hole and cover it with a little bit of flour.
Now you can mix everything together. Add the milk now little by little and keep mixing until the batter gets creamy.
Preheat oven to 390°F.
Pour half of the the batter in a well-greased cake pan.
Mix the rest of the batter with cocoa powder an pour it over the light batter. Carefully fold in the black batter with a spoon.
Place the cake pan on the middle tray of the oven. Bake for about 60 minutes. Jab a fork or thin wood skewer into the cake to test whether it is done. If the fork or wood skewer comes out clean, then the cake is done.
