Maple dijon vinaigrette recipe details
- Ingredients
- 1-1/2 cups vegetable oil
- 1/2 cup cider vinegar
- 1/3 cup Vermont maple syrup
- Juice of 1 lemon
- 1 Tablespoon Dijon mustard
- 1 Tablespoon whole grain mustard
- 1/2 teaspoon rubbed (ground) sage
- 1/2 teaspoon black cracked peppercorns
- 2 Tablespoons chopped chives
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
Whisk together all the ingredients in a bowl at least 2 hours before using. Place in a large jar. Shake well before using. It will keep indefinitely if refrigerated, but should be brought to room temperature before using. This may also be used for a marinade for game.
