Maple cream mousse recipe details
Ingredients
2 medium | eggs, separated |
100 g | white sugar |
120 ml | maple syrup |
180 ml | whipping cream, whipped |
Instructions
Combine egg yolks, sugar, and half of the maple syrup in a bowl and beat until light and fluffy.Heat remaining maple syrup on in the microwave to boiling point, about 45 seconds. Set aside and let cool to lukewarm.
Whip egg whites until stiff, add maple syrup and stir until well incorporated.
In another bowl whip cream until stiff.
Fold egg yolk and egg white mixture into the whipped cream. Combine well and then divide into 2 serving dishes.
Freeze for at least 4 hours before serving.
