Ingredients
1 kg | green mangoes, peeled, seeded, chopped |
2 medium | onions, chopped |
1 clove(s) | garlic, minced |
1 tsp | ginger, ground |
6 | red chilies, chopped |
½ tsp | cumin seeds |
½ tsp | turmeric, ground |
oil, for frying | |
240 ml | water |
salt, to taste |
Instructions
Roast the cumin seeds and combine with chilies, ginger and garlic. Heat the oil in a pan, add onions and cook until browned. Add ground masala, turmeric and fry well.Add mango pieces to the pan and enough water to cover everything. Season with salt to taste and bring to a simmer and cook until thickened.
