Mama Bear’s Granola recipe

- Ingredients
- 2-1/2 cup rolled oats
- 1/2 cup wheat germ
- 1/2 cup powdered skim milk
- 1/2 cup soy powder
- 1/2 cup shredded coconut
- 1/2 cup sesame seeds
- 1/2 cup sunflower seeds
- 1/2 cup slivered almonds or pinon nuts
- 1/2 cup honey
- 1/2 cup canola oil
Preheat oven to 250 degrees. In large bowl place all dry ingredients and stir well. In small sauce pan place honey and oil. Stir occasionally. Heat on medium heat until hot and bubbling. Continue stirring, slowly adding to the dry ingredients, mix well. Spread Granola on a cookie sheet. Bake for 30 minutes. Remove from oven and stir. Replace and bake 30 minutes longer or until it is lightly browned.
Makes:approximately 7 cups.
