I serve this “soup” with fresh fruit and toasted fresh baked bread. This is a guest favorite, as raspberries and chocolate were made for each other.

4 cups water
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup sugar
1 cup chocolate-flavored Malt-O-Mealcereal
Raspberry jam

Using a heavy sauce pan, bring water to boil. Add salt, sugar, and pre-measured cereal to boiling water and cook, stirring, for 5 minutes. Serve in soup bowls with 1 Tablespoon raspberry jam in the middle of the bowl.
