- Ingredients
- 3 eggs
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 1 cup cane syrup
- 1/8 teaspoon salt
- 2 Tablespoons melted margarine
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1 cup pecans
- One 9-inch unbaked pastry shell
Beat eggs slightly. Add next five ingredients. Mix well. Fold in pecans; pour into unbaked pastry shell and bake in 400-degree oven for 15 minutes. Reduce temperature to 350 degrees and bake about 40 minutes more or until knife inserted near center comes out clean. Do not overbake. If crust browns too much, cover top lightly with foil.
