Libbie's doughnut muffins details
- Ingredients
- 1-1/2 cups flour
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1-1/2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 egg
- 1/3 cup oleo
- 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
- 1/2 cup milk
Cream shortening and sugar together. Beat in egg. Sift flour, baking powder, salt and nutmeg. Add to mixture. Pour in milk to mixture. Mix together. Place in greased muffin tins. Bake in oven at 350 degrees. for 20 to 25 minutes. Take from pan and roll muffin in extra melted oleo. Then roll muffin into mixture of 1/2 cup sugar and 1 Tablespoon cinnamon.
Makes: 1 dozen muffins
