Ingredients
4 | smoked pork chops |
400 g | potatoes, peeled and diced |
1 | onion, chopped |
1 | carrot, diced |
1 large can(s) | lentils, appr. 850ml |
100 g | single cream |
½ bunch(es) | parsley, chopped |
1 tbsp | oil |
1 tbsp | curry powder |
salt and pepper |
Instructions
Fry the potatoes, carrots and onions in a saucepan in hot oil for 5 minutes. Add the lentils and bring to a boil. Reduce the heat and simmer for 10 minutes. Add the smoked pork chops and simmer for 5 more minutes. Remove the meat and keep warm.Add the cream and the curry to the lentil stew and bring to a boil again. Season to taste with salt and pepper. Stir in the parsley.
Serve the smoked pork chops together with the lentil stew.
