Ingredients
6 large | potatoes, peeled, chopped |
250 g | tomatoes, chopped |
1 large | onion, chopped |
2 clove(s) | garlic, minced |
450 g | lentils |
salt and pepper, to taste |
Instructions
Place the potatoes, tomatoes, onion and garlic in a large pot with enough water to cover. Bring to a boil and cook for 15 minutes.
Add lentils and a bit more water if necessary. Season with salt and pepper and bring to a boil. Reduce heat to low, and continue cooking 20 minutes, stirring occasionally, until lentils are tender.
