1 tbsp | cornstarch |
90 g | granulated sugar |
50 g | brown sugar |
¼ tsp | salt |
1 pinch(es) | ground ginger |
240 ml | hot water |
1 | lemon, grated rind |
1 tbsp | butter |
4 tbsp | lemon juice |
150 g | raisins |
Instructions
Combine cornstarch, sugars, salt and ginger in a saucepan. Add hot water and cook until thickened and clear. Add lemon juice, grated rind, butter and raisins and cook, stirring, for another 3-5 minutes.Makes about 500 ml.
