Ingredients
4 medium | leeks |
60 g | cheese, grated |
White Sauce: | |
300 ml | milk |
30 g | butter |
30 g | plain flour |
1 tsp | mustard |
1 clove(s) | garlic, crushed |
1 pinch(es) | nutmeg, ground |
Instructions
Cut leeks into small pieces and steam or boil leeks until tender, 7-9 minutes.Put all ingredients for the white sauce in a pan and heat gently, stirring occasionally until sauce thickens for approximately 10 minutes. Liquidize in a blender.
Place in an oven proof dish and pour over white sauce to cover the leeks.
Bake in an oven for approximately 20-30 minutes. Sprinkle with cheese during the last 5 minutes of baking.
