Lamb meatballs with red lentils recipe details
Ingredients
200 g | red lentils |
salt and pepper | |
½ | onion, diced |
3 tbsp | oil |
2 sprig(s) | thyme, chopped |
1 clove(s) | garlic, chopped |
300 g | lamb mince |
1 tbsp | breadcrumbs |
60 g | sour cream |
Instructions
Cook the lentils in water for 10 minutes. Drain.In a pan, heat 1 tablespoon of the oil. Sauté the onion until lucent. Set aside and let cool down.
Put the minced lamb into a bowl and add onion, lentils, garlic, sour cream, breadcrumbs and the thyme. Knead until well combined. Season with salt and pepper.
Shape to small meatballs. In a pan, heat the remaining oil and fry the balls until golden browned all around.
