Ingredients

200 g red lentils
salt and pepper
½  onion, diced
3 tbsp oil
2 sprig(s) thyme, chopped
1 clove(s) garlic, chopped
300 g lamb mince
1 tbsp breadcrumbs
60 g sour cream


Instructions

Cook the lentils in water for 10 minutes. Drain.

In a pan, heat 1 tablespoon of the oil. Sauté the onion until lucent. Set aside and let cool down.

Put the minced lamb into a bowl and add onion, lentils, garlic, sour cream, breadcrumbs and the thyme. Knead until well combined. Season with salt and pepper.

Shape to small meatballs. In a pan, heat the remaining oil and fry the balls until golden browned all around.
