Kirschwasser truffle recipe details
Ingredients
300 g | dark chocolate |
100 g | butter, softened |
2 | egg yolks |
125 g | icing sugar |
2 tbsp | kirschwasser |
40 ml | single cream |
cocoa powder, to dust | |
Optional: | |
2 tbsp | instant espresso powder |
Instructions
Chop the chocolate into small pieces and melt over gentle heat. Remove from heat and stir in the kirschwasser. Mix in the butter and the icing sugar and the egg yolks one by one. Strongly mix in the single cream. Set aside in a cool place for 2 hours.Form bite-sized balls, roll them in the cocoa powder and store in the fridge until serving.
Option:
The kirschwasser truffles get more acerbic, when you add to the mixture 2 tabelspoons of instant espresso powder.
