The classic beef Stroganoff, but with the addition of fennel seasoning you’ll feel like royalty!

Ingredients
Serves: 4- 12 ounces boneless beef sirloin steak
- 1 (8-ounce) container sour cream
- 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
- 2 teaspoons instant bouillon
- 1/2 cup water
- 1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
- 2 tablespoons sweet unsalted butter
- 1/8 teaspoon fennel, crushed
- 2 cups sliced mushrooms
- 1/2 cup chopped onion
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 2 cups hot cooked egg noodles
Preparation method
Prep: 20 mins | Cook: 20 mins1. Trim fat and thinly slice meat across grain into bite-size strips. In a small bowl stir together sour cream and flour. Stir in bouillon, water, and black pepper; set aside.
2. Melt butter in a large skillet with the crushed fennel. Stir in the meat, mushrooms, onion, and garlic over medium-high heat for 5 minutes or until desired doneness. Drain off fat.
3. Stir sour cream mixture into skillet. Cook and stir until thickened and bubbly. Serve over noodles.
