Kids favorite popcorn balls recipe details
Basic marshmallow popcorn balls that use a pack of Kool-Aid(R) for color and flavor. Depending on the flavor used, they can be a little tangy. Kids love them!

Ingredients
Serves: 12- 6 quarts air-popped popcorn
- 1 tablespoon butter
- 1 (16 ounce) package mini-marshmallows
- 1 (.14 ounce) pack unsweetened Kool-Aid(R), any flavor
Preparation method
Prep: 10 mins | Cook: 10 mins | Extra time: 15 mins, cooling1. In a large pot on low heat, melt butter and marshmallows, stirring constantly. This should take between 5 and 10 minutes.
2. When melted and smooth, add Kool-Aid(R). Mix until all is the color of the Kool-Aid(R). Stir in popcorn to coat.
3. Form with hands into 3″ balls and place on waxpaper to cool.Alternate Method
You can also make these in the microwave by cooking the butter and marshmallows in a microwave-safe mixing bowl on High for 30-second intervals, stirring between, until melted.
