Kids campfire mac n cheese recipe details
Ingredients
100 g | Elbow macaroni |
50 g | Cheddar cheese, grated |
1 tbsp | Parmesan cheese |
1 tbsp | milk |
5 tbsp | butter |
salt and pepper to taste | |
disposable aluminium pie pan | |
pieces of foil |
Instructions
Pre-cook the macaroni and put them in a big bowl. Place all the other ingredients next to each other.Kids combine all the ingredients in their pan.
Then seal the pans in foil – use double layers if cooking over an open flame – folding over the extra foil at the top to make a handle.
Hold the packet over a campfire or set it directly on a grill to melt the cheese.
Let the packs cool with the foil still wrapped around, then open them carefully.
Stir macaraoni and cheese well before eating it.
