Ingredients
Serves: 6- 5 tablespoons butter
- 2 onions, halved and sliced
- 1 cup beef stock
- Salt and pepper, to taste
Preparation method
Prep: 10 mins | Cook: 20 mins1. In a large skillet over medium heat, melt the butter. Add the onions and stir to coat, then add the beef stock. Sprinkle with salt and pepper to taste.
2. Bring to a boil, then simmer on low heat until stock has evaporated, about 8 minutes. Then allow the onions to brown slightly, another 3 or 4 minutes.
