- 1 (28 ounce) can crushed tomatoes
- 1 (15 ounce) can diced tomatoes
- 1 (15 ounce) can tomato sauce
- 1 (6 ounce) can tomato paste
- 1 1/2 tablespoon dried parsley
- 1 tablespoon Italian seasoning
- 1 teaspoon kosher salt
- 1/2 teaspoon fresh ground black pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- pinch sugar
- dash dried oregano
- dash cinnamon
- dash cayenne pepper
Preparation method
Prep: 5 mins | Cook: 1 hour 45 mins1. Saute onion and garlic with olive oil over medium heat. Once nearly translucent, add wine. A few minutes later, add in all tomato products and bring to simmer over medium-low heat. Add all remaining ingredients and simmer for at least an hour, preferably 1 1/2 hours.
