Kay el bar lemon bars recipe details
- Ingredients
- 2 cups flour
- 1 cup soft butter
- 1/2 cup powdered sugar
- 4 eggs
- 4 Tablespoons lemon juice
- 1 Tablespoon lemon peel
- 2 cups sugar
- 1/2 cup flour
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- Glaze:
- 1-1/2 cup powdered sugar
- 1 Tablespoon lemon juice
Combine 2 cups flour, butter, and powdered sugar and pat into ungreased 12 x 15-inch pan. Bake 350 degrees for 10 minutes. Mix together eggs, lemon juice, lemon peel, sugar, 1/2 cup flour, baking powder, and salt. Pour over crust. Bake 25 minutes at 350 degrees.
Glaze: Combine powdered sugar and lemon juice; add enough water to make it spreadable.
