Karen’s Cinnamon Nut Granola recipe
- Ingredients
- 1-1/2 cups honey (homemade Fireweed honey if possible)
- 3/4 cup vegetable oil
- 3 tablespoons water 1-1/2 Tablespoon vanilla extract
- 2 tablespoons cinnamon
- 7 cups old-fashioned rolled oats
- 2 cups raw wheat germ
- 1 cup coconut
- 1 cup sesame seeds in husk
- 1 cup raw sunflower seeds
- 1 cup bran
- 1/2 cup nonfat powdered milk
- 1 cup almonds
- 1 cup walnuts
- 1 cup raisins
Instructions:
Heat first five ingredients in a sauce pan until well blended. Cool. Mix other ingredients in large, lightly greased baking pan. Pour honey mixture over dry ingredients and mix well. Bake two hours, tossing every 1/2 hour.
