Juanita's potato delight recipe details
- Ingredients
- One 2-pound package of frozen hash brown potatoes OR 5 cups diced potatoes – boiled, drained, and cooled.
- 1/2 cup melted butter
- 1/2 teaspoon pepper
- 1 can cream of chicken soup
- 1 pint sour cream (light works fine)
- 1/2 cup grated onion
- 2 cups grated cheddar cheese
- 2 cups corn flakes
- 1/4 cup melted butter
Mix all ingredients together except cheese in a 9 x 13-inch pan. Sprinkle cheese on top. Put over the cheese corn flakes and melted butter. Bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes to 1 hour.
I serve with grilled smoked ham slices, fruit, and bread or muffins.
