Janice's oatmeal apple pancakes recipe details
- Ingredients
- 2 cups milk
- 1-1/2 cups uncooked oats
- 1/3 cup canola oil
- 2 eggs
- 3/4 cup all-purpose flour
- 2 Tablespoons sugar
- 2-1/2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon allspice
- 1/2 teaspoon ground cloves
- Chopped apple (optional)
In a medium bowl, pour milk over oats and let stand about 2 minutes. Preheat lightly greased electric griddle to 375 to 390 degrees. Beat canola oil and remaining ingredients into oats mixture.
Pour 1/4 cup batter onto preheated griddle for each pancake. When bubbles form, flip pancake and cook until done. Serve with homemade maple syrup for a great fall morning treat!
