Guava butter recipe details
- Ingredients
- One 16-ounce jar Hawaiian Guava jelly
- 1 pound butter or margarine
We blend a 16-ounce jar of Hawaiian Guava jelly with a pound of butter (or margarine). Butter/margarine must be soft. To soften the butter leave it at room temperature for at least 30 minutes.
Use blender and mix very well (although you might like the little chunks of Guava jelly showing).
Since jelly is used the seeds are not present. If you like you can also add cooked fresh guava to the mix. But in this case make sure you remove the seeds from the mix.
Note: Guava butter is an excellent spread. Add it to nicely crusted toast bread or on any bread. It is also great on rolls.Did you know
