J paul's grilled whole catfish recipe details
A friend of mine gave me a whole bunch of catfish that were already cleaned. I already had the fire going when he showed up, so I adapted a recipe I found online to cook them up right quick.

Ingredients
Serves: 6- 6 whole catfish, cleaned
- Basting Sauce
- 1/2 cup melted butter
- 1/2 (12 ounce) can beer (drink the rest, don’t be wasteful!)
- 1/2 Cup Italian Salad Dressing
- 1 tablespoon Creole mustard
- 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tablespoon Creole seasoning
- Tabasco(R) sauce to taste
- salt and pepper to taste
Preparation method
Prep: 10 mins | Cook: 30 mins1. Preheat grill for medium heat and oil grate. Whisk together basting sauce ingredients and set aside.
2. Season the catfish with salt and pepper to taste, and cook on the grill until the fish flakes easily with a fork, about 30 minutes. Baste with the basting sauce every 5 minutes as the fish cooks.Credit
