Italian savoury herb muffins recipe details
Ingredients
400 g | flour |
1 pack(s) | active dry yeast |
200 ml | lukewarm water |
1 tsp | sugar |
1 tsp | salt |
For the glaze: | |
50 ml | olive oil |
1 tbsp | oregano |
1 tbsp | rosemary, chopped |
garlic powder |
Instructions
Mix together the flour and the yeast. Stir in the sugar, salt and the water. Knead until well combined. Add more water if necessary. Cover and allow to rise at a warm place for 30 minutes.Preheat the oven to 250°C. Mix together the oil, oregano and the rosemary. Season with garlic powder.
Divide the dough into 12 buttered muffin cups. Brush the muffins with the herb oil. Bake for 10-12 minutes. Turn off the heat. Open the oven door and allow the muffins to stand in the oven for 5 minutes.
Serve warm.
