Italian burgers recipe details
One of the best burger recipes I’ve ever tried. Has to be tasted to appreciate it. Serve it with your favorite condiments.

Ingredients
Serves: 4- 1 pound ground beef
- 1/4 cup seasoned bread crumbs
- 1 egg, lightly beaten
- 2 teaspoons dried basil
- 1/2 teaspoon dried marjoram
- 1/4 teaspoon dried oregano
- Salt and pepper
- 3 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 (16 ounce) jar spaghetti sauce
- 1 cup shredded cheese (pizza mix or mozzarella)
Preparation method
Prep: 10 mins | Cook: 10 mins1. Combine beef with bread crumbs, egg, basil, marjoram, oregano, salt, and pepper. Form beef mixture into 4 patties.
2. Heat olive oil in large skillet or saute pan. Place beef patties in pan, not quite touching; on low-medium heat, brown both sides of patties (2 to 4 minutes on each side).
3. Pour spaghetti sauce over and around patties. Cover and simmer for 10 to 15 minutes, until patties are cooked through.
4. Top each patty with portion of shredded cheese. Cover again and let stand for 2 minutes to melt the cheese. Serve.
