Hungarian style chicken breast fillet recipe details
Ingredients
3 tbsp | oil |
salt and pepper | |
2 | red bell peppers, diced |
2 | onions, chopped |
paprika powder | |
1 ½ tbsp | tomato puree |
1 can(s) | tomatoes, diced |
2 | chicken breast fillets |
Instructions
In a pan heat the oil and sauté onion and peppers until lucent. Season with salt, pepper and paprika. Add the tomato purée and cook stirring for 1-2 minutes. Add the tomatoes and bring to a boil. Cook over low heat for 10 minutes.In a pan heat the remaining oil. Fry the chicken breast fillets until golden brown all around and cooked. Season with salt and pepper, take out of the pan and set aside for 5 minutes.
Cut the fillets into fine slices and transfer the meat into the sauce. Let stand over low heat for 5 minutes.
Serve with ribbon noodles and a fresh green salad.
