Hot pepper sauce recipe details
Ingredients
4 clove(s) | garlic, minced |
2 medium | red onions, chopped |
500 g | tomatoes |
3 tbsp | olive oil |
2 medium | chili peppers |
4 | habanero peppers, seeded |
240 ml | white wine vinegar |
2 tsp | salt |
2 tsp | white sugar |
Instructions
Heat oil in a saucepan over medium heat. Sauté chopped onion, chili peppers, habanero peppers and garlic. Cook for 3-4 minutes. Stir continuously.Reduce heat, add the vinegar, tomatoes, salt and sugar. Cook for about 6 minutes.
Remove from heat and process in a blender until nicely puréed.
Leave to cool for about an hour.
