Hot drunken thighs recipe details
Ingredients1. Chicken thighs (12)
2. eggs (2)
3. hot pepper sauce (10 dashes)
4. dry mustard (1 tsp)
5. vegetable oil for frying (2 quarts)
6. fresh ground white pepper ( ¼ tsp)
7. seasoned bread crumbs (1 cup) or plain bread crumbs mixed with each onion salt, garlic powder and ground oregano (1 cup)
8. salt (1tsp)
9. all purpose flour (1 cup)
10. fresh ground white pepper (1 ½ tsp)
11. vodka (1/2 cup)
12. liquid hot pepper sauce
Method of preparation
1. Take a large shallow bowl. Beat eggs in it. Then mix vodka slowly in it. Mix 1 1/2 teaspoon white pepper, liquid hot pepper sauce and mustard in it. Then coat chicken thighs in this mixture. Keep it for about 30 minutes to 2 hours at room temperature. Pour marinade on each thigh.
2. Take a deep fryer, heat oil to 350 degrees. Take a bowl, mix flour, salt and 1/4 teaspoon of white pepper in it. Coat thigh in flour mixture, dip in marinade and then coat in crumbs.
3. Put the thighs in hot oil, 2 to 4 thighs at a time and cook them for about 10 to 12 minutes. Drain the thighs on paper towels and then serve with sherry pepper sauce or liquid hot pepper sauce.
