Honey and orange sauce recipe details
Ingredients
200 ml | white wine |
100 g | shallots, peeled, chopped |
1 tbsp | butter |
2 | oranges, peeled and filleted |
4 tbsp | cognac |
50 g | honey |
salt and pepper to taste |
Instructions
In a saucepan sauté the shallots in butter over medium heat until lucent. Deglaze with white wine and stir in the honey. Let simmer for about 5 minutes. Season to taste with salt and pepper.Add the orange fillets and simmer for another 5 minutes. Add the cognac and serve.
