You’ve never had baked potatoes like these before, infused with the flavor of hickory chips (thanks to a couple of hours in your smoker).
Ready in: 1 hour 40 mins
Ingredients
Serves: 4- Hickory chips, soaked
- 4 baking potatoes
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- Salt and pepper
Preparation method
Prep: 10 mins | Cook: 1 hour 30 mins1. Preheat the smoker (or grill with smoker) for 30 minutes with charcoal (if needed) and hickory chips, according to manufacturer’s instructions.
2. Rub potatoes with olive oil and sprinkle with salt and pepper to taste. Place on the smoker grate.
3. Close lid and smoke for 1 1/2 to 2 hours, until potatoes are tender. Serve.
