Herb and Chicken Broth recipe
Ingredients
1 l | chicken broth |
1 medium | onion, chopped |
1 clove(s) | garlic, minced |
2 sprig(s) | parsley |
2 sprig(s) | thyme |
2 sprig(s) | mint |
12 | coriander seeds |
1 pinch(es) | saffron |
4 | cloves |
salt and pepper, to taste |
Instructions
In a saucepan, sauté onion in the oil until soft. Add garlic and sauté for another minute. Add broth and bring to the boil.
Reduce to a simmer and add the remaining ingredients. Cover, and cook for 30 minutes.
Strain.
