Hash brown casserole recipe details
- Ingredients:
- 1/2 cup chopped onion
- 1/2 cup butter or margarine
- One 32-ounce package frozen hash brown potatoes, thawed
- 1 teaspoon salt
- dash pepper
- 1 can cream of chicken soup, undiluted
- 8-ounces sour cream
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese, grated
Melt butter, mix with chopped onion, hash brown potatoes, salt, pepper, sour cream, soup and 3/4 of cheese. Pour in greased casserole dish. Sprinkle remaining cheese on top. Bake 350 degrees for 45 to 60 minutes.
