Harvest apple pancake recipe details
- Ingredients:
- 3/4 cup all-purpose flour
- 3 Tablespoons sugar
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 3 eggs
- 3/4 cup light cream
- 2 Tablespoons butter, melted
- 2 large apples, thinly sliced
- 2 Tablespoons brown sugar, firmly packed
- 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
- 2 Tablespoons butter, melted
Mix the flour, sugar, salt, eggs, cream, and 2 Tablespoons melted butter together in a 2-quart mixing bowl. Heat an 8- to 10-inch cake pan sprayed with non-stick cooking spray and pour in the batter. Bake approximately 20 minutes, just until set, at about 270 degrees. Remove and lay apple over the top, completely covering the surface. Combine brown sugar and cinnamon and sprinkle over the apples. Pour the remaining 2 Tablespoons of butter over. Bake at 400 degrees for 8 to 10 minutes. Serve warm.
