Halloween biscuits recipe details
Ingredients
100 g | butter |
100 g | sugar |
1 medium | egg |
275 g | flour |
1 tsp | vanilla extract |
400 g | icing sugar |
4 tbsp | water |
3 drop(s) | food colour |
Instructions
Preheat the oven to 190°C.Combine sugar, butter, vanilla extract and egg in a large bowl and mix well. Add the flour to the mixture and beat well.
On a floured surface, roll out the dough. Cut biscuits out of the dough with spooky Halloween cutters e. g. vampires, ghosts or spiders. Put the biscuits on a baking sheet and bake for about 9 minutes. Let them cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes before moving to a cooling rack.
For the spooky icing, combine icing sugar, water and food colour in a bowl and mix well until creamy. Coat the biscuits with the icing. Serve, when the icing is hard.
