Guilt less sugar free fat free frappuccino recipe details
The hardest part of making this delightfully addicting and refreshing drink treat is picking your flavor… with so many sugar-free syrups at the store you’ll be tempted to buy 1 of each! 🙂 Double-brewing is simple – just make some coffee, then pour the coffee back into the machine and use a new set of grounds to brew it again.
Ready in: 10 mins
Ingredients
Serves: 1- 1/2 cup STRONG coffee, cooled (espresso works best)
- 1/2 cup skim milk
- 2 tablespoons Splenda(R) sweetener
- 2 tablespoons sugar-free syrup, any flavor
- 1 cup ice
Preparation method
Prep: 5 mins | Cook: 5 mins1. To make STRONG coffee, either use an espresso machine, or double-brew your coffee in a drip machine. Once brewed, put the coffee in the freezer while you assemble the rest of your ingredients.
2. In a blender, combine the milk, Splenda, and flavor.
3. Add the ice and coffee to blender and blend at high speed until ice is liquified.
4. Pour into a tall glass and watch out for frontal-lobe freeze while you enjoy this treat!Cook’s note:
For a MOCHA flavor, the only “good” choice I’ve found is chocolate syrup which adds SUGAR and FAT so keep that in mind. Otherwise use any sugar-free syrup available in your grocery store in the coffee section. Our local store offers Sugar-Free Vanilla, Caramel, Hazelnut, and Raspberry (yummy!).
