Who wants to be inside a Chinese restaurant on a gorgeous summer day? This is the classic Northern Chinese dish re-imagined for summer grilling.

Ingredients
Serves: 4- 2 tablespoons hoisin sauce
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 teaspoon seasoned rice vinegar
- 1 tablespoon sugar
- 1 teaspoon cornstarch
- 12 ounces boneless pork chops, cut into 16 (1-inch) cubes
- 16 white mushrooms
- 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
Preparation method
Prep: 10 mins | Cook: 10 mins1. Preheat grill to High.
2. Place pork cubes and mushrooms on metal skewers. Brush with 1 tablespoon oil, set on grill, and grill for 3 minutes. Flip and cook for 2 more minutes. Remove from grill.
3. Whisk hoisin sauce together with soy sauce, vinegar, and sugar in a bowl.
4. Brush kabobs with hoisin sauce mixture from one bowl. Return to the grill and cook for another 2 minutes, flip again, and grill for 2 final minutes. Serve.
