Ingredients

Serves: 2

• 1/4 cup flour
• 3 eggs
• 1 1/2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
• 1 tablespoon ground black pepper
• 1 tablespoon butter
• 4 slices wheat bread
• 4 slices American cheese

Preparation method

Prep: 15 mins | Cook: 10 mins

1. Whisk together flour, eggs, cinnamon, and pepper in a bowl until smooth and free of chunks of flour.
2. Melt the butter in a pan over high heat. Moisten all the pieces of bread on both sides with the egg mixture.
3. Cook the bread in pairs until dark brown or as crispy as you want it. Flip over and add cheese to one slice. Put on the other slice of bread on top, cooked side down. Cook both sides well. Enjoy.
