Ingredients
Serves: 2- 2 tablespoons Dijon mustard
- 2 tablespoons honey
- 4 slices sourdough bread
- 4 ounces thinly-sliced deli ham
- 8 thin slices apple
- 1 cup shredded sharp Cheddar cheese
- 4 1/2 teaspoons butter, at room temperature
Preparation method
Prep: 5 mins | Cook: 5 mins1. Spread the bread slices with mustard and honey. Top 2 of the slices with ham, apple, and Cheddar, then set the other slices of bread on top. Spread outsides of the sandwich with butter.
2. Set a skillet over medium heat. Add sandwiches and cook for about 5 minutes, flipping once midway through cooking time, until both sides are lightly browned.
3. Slice sandwiches in half and serve.
