Green chilli stew recipe details
Ingredients
1 kg | beef stew, cut into 1 inch cubes |
2 medium | onions, chopped |
2 tbsp | vegetable oil |
1 large can(s) | pinto beans |
1 large can(s) | diced tomatoes |
2 large can(s) | chopped green chillies |
1 cube(s) | water |
3 | beef bouillion cubes |
1 clove(s) | garlic, minced |
1 tsp | sugar |
½ tsp | salt |
¼ tsp | pepper |
Instructions
In a skillet, brown beef and onions in oil, drain. Transfer to a 5 quart slow cooker.Combine beans, tomato, chillies, water, bullion, garlic, sugar, salt, pepper. Pour over beef.
Cover and cook on low for 7-8 hours or until beef is tender.
Sprinkle with cheese if desired.
