Greek style pork gyros recipe details
Ingredients
600 g | pork neck |
2 tsp | oregano |
2 tsp | thyme |
3 tsp | paprika powder |
1 tsp | cumin |
2 clove(s) | garlic |
2 | onions |
salt and freshly ground black pepper | |
150 ml | olive oil |
2 dash(es) | lemon juice |
Instructions
Cut the meat into very thin strips. Peel the onions and cut into strips. Mince the garlic. In a container, combine onions and garlic with the meat and the spices, mix well, cover and leave to marinate in the refrigerator for about 1-2 days.In a very hot pan with olive oil, stir-fry the mixture in batches and keep warm.
Serve immediately when all is cooked, together with yoghurt and rice.
