Enjoy this delicious Southern breakfast treat! Buttermilk biscuits drenched in thick sausage gravy.

Ingredients
Serves: 4- 1 package your favorite sausage
- 1 package 5 buttermilk biscuits
- 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
- 3 cups milk
- 3 tablespoons butter
Preparation method
Prep: 10 mins | Cook: 25 mins1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
2. First brown the sausage over medium-high heat in a skillet. Remove the sausage and set to the side.
3. Stir in the butter, add the flour until it is smooth. Turn heat to medium and cook until light brown. Slowly add the milk until the gravy thickens.
4. Chop the sausage up into little pieces and add the bits to the gravy. Simmer for 10-15 minutes.
5. After you leave the gravy to simmer, cook the biscuits in the oven. These should finish about the same time the gravy is finished.
6. Split the biscuits onto a plate and pour the gravy over them. Enjoy!
