Grand marnier balls recipe details
Ingredients
250 g | chocolate wafers, crumbled |
115 g | hazelnuts, toasted |
300 g | confectioners’ sugar |
1 tbsp | instant coffee powder |
120 ml | Grand Marnier |
2 tbsp | corn syrup |
100 g | granulated sugar |
Instructions
Combine chocolate wafers and hazelnuts in a blender and process until smooth. Add confectioners’ sugar and process to combine.Dissolve the coffee powder in the alcohol and add to the chocolate crumbs along with the corn syrup. Process until the mixture is moist and well mixed.
Remove from blender and break off small pieces. Roll them into small balls and place the granulated sugar in a shallow bowl. Coat each ball in the sugar.
Place on waxed paper in a cookie tin and store 1 week before serving.
